notice I incorporated the "reactive Heat shield filter" into this design. I can make more of these. Looks totally like a prefab kit huh??
I decided to keep the filter towards the top (like PRM) so make it easier to clean and for asthetic reasons

looks pretty good i nwould use an aluminum strip to suport it dou. (rather that that pre-drilled metal stuff)does it work good? i thought you had lk-ze? that looks like a kl-03 manifold. (maybe im missing something?) also got a 3 inch aluminum 90 degree bend piece of pipe. ill give it to ya if i dont need it when i do the ze swap. also i recomend to everyone to swap the batt to the rear, it helps handling alot. (iguess for draging thats not good idea dou.)

I don't think he used the KLZE intake manifold because it wouldn't fit.

looks like the pvc pipe from homedepot. (i almost did one like dat.) home depot has pipe with a diminishing diameter too. for da elbow.

iy is a ZE but mine came with a MS-8 style manifold and that was too tall and wouldnt allow for the hood to close and its Not PVC from Home depot its PVC and is bendable with heat and it chemical resistant and the strap you is temporary, and is designed for 3" piping (not predrilled plumbers tape ) an das for the flow of the filter, the spec sheet says 1000 cfm

where do you get bendable pvc?

Nice Job.

I've got the PRM, I've been wondering about a way to put a flap on the bottom. Angle it forward to scoop air on a nice day, angle it back if it's raing out.

Almost like having a 90 degree elbo on the bottom. Point it forward, or rotate it 180. It gets air either way, just one way it gets a lot more.

Could stick it down by the wheel.to keep it from being scraped off over speed bumps.

Speed bumps are bad. I scrap something everytime I go over one. And my car isn't lowered!

quit complaining I dropped mine about 1.25" and I dont have any worries
just watch for potholes

I'm pretty sure it's only my mud flaps scrapping. I guess when I lower it I will cut them shorter. I don't want rocks and stuff scraping the side of the car......

i already do everything in my power to avoid speed bumbs and potholes... man, it's gonna be tough after i lower it... :)
